She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she completed her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with Pi Beta Kappa honors and her Doctor of Dental Surgery.
After working at various private practices in the Triangle area, Dr. Matthews began Reflections Dental in 2010. Reflections Dental prides itself on building a caring and trustworthy relationship with all of its patients and the surrounding community. Dr. Matthews understands the importance of providing affordable. quality dental care as compassionately and professionally as possible. Her mission is for all of her patients and team to feel like they are part of her own family.
When not practicing dentistry, owning growing dental practice and being a mom to her daughter, Saylor (in 7th grade), Dr. Matthews enjoys spending time with her friends and family and traveling.
Austin is originally from Charlotte, North Carolina. She started her education at East Carolina University and graduated with a public health degree with a concentration in pre-health. Go Pirates!
She continued her education at UNC Chapel Hill and completed hr Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene. She loves spending time with her husband Jordan and her sweet fur baby, Mayson. She loves to travel, especially to the beach. Tooth be told, Austin loves being a dental hygienist because she is able to instill confidence in each and every patient, while further educating each individual. Her true passion is to help others, especially individuals with autism.
Julie is a native to Bahama, NC. She began her education at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro studying business. With a passion for art and science she transferred to the North Carolina Dental Assisting Training School (NCDATS) and Durham Technical College, receiving both, an Associated in Science Degree, and her Dental Assisting Certificate in 2011.
After working chair side for 5 years as a dental assistant, Julie was ready to advance her training and education in the dental field. She attended The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received her Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2018. GO Tar Heels!
In her spare time, Julie loves spending time with her Fiancé Cory and their sweet lab mix Trigger. They reside in Durham, NC but you will find them on a lake or beach most weekends.

Teresa is a native of North Carolina. She graduated from ACC Dental Assistant Program in 1996 and has over 25 years of dental experience where she earned a Patient Care Award. Teresa loves having the opportunity to educate patients on their treatment needs.
She is a proud mother of four children and a grandmother to four precious grandchildren. During her spare time, she enjoys working in the yard or sitting by the pool with her family.
Jennifer was born and spent her childhood in Massachusetts but has become a true North Carolinian. She spent most of her summers vacationing on Cape Cod & now she loves the Outer Banks, especially Ocracoke. Jennifer has been in the dentistry field for 14 years & especially loves the personal relationships she builds with her patients. She received her Dental Assisting degree from Wake Technical Community College & has worked in pediatrics as well as general practice.
Jennifer married her husband Russ in 2014 who is a native of North Carolina. Jennifer and Russ welcomed their son Rhett in 2017. Becoming a mother has been her greatest joy. She enjoys spending time with her two sisters, reading, and visiting her family in New England.
Chana is originally from Burlington, North Carolina and now resides in Bunn, North Carolina. Chana obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree from Elon University with a concentration in Marketing & Management in 1994. After a career change, she joined the Reflections Dental Team in December 2011 and has enjoyed the challenge of working at a rapidly growing practice.
She and her husband, Tony, have two girls, Rachel and Rebecca. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, running and watching her girls play soccer.
